This plastic Surgical Drape Clip has a 30% higher positive gripping capacity than steel clips and does not tear woven or non-woven drapes.
Design
The Surgical Drape Clip No.201 is designed for use with woven as well as non-woven drapes and cannot, unlike steel clips, damage or tear drapes, operation gloves or even hands. Repair costs of woven drapes are completely eliminated. The horizontally displaced feeder arm smoothly moves in under the drapes, and the two locking arms above the drapes are closed like a safety pin. If the right hand is feeding the clip, the left hand locks it. The clip is radiolucent and need not be removed during X-raying. A metal rivet, inserted into a hole in one of the legs, makes the clip X-ray identifiable.
Sterilization
The material of the Surgiccal Drape Clip No.201 permits any kind of sterilization e.g. autoclaving for 2 hours at 145 Degrees.
